Well pics seem better since i moved to a sigma 100-300 with a X1.4
Just wonder what a move upto a 30D would do to improve focus and FPS?
Pity i was stood on the wrong side of the pitch..

Did you use manual focus for these if not try it next time, that sigma is meant to be one sharp lens

No auto, light today was very poor, game called off due to rain.
Being very new to this auto is a challange never mind manual.
It good fun though looking for improvements and places to stand for the best shots, just don't sem to be able to nail that 100% pic, not sure if its my trail and error methods or i'm getting the bests from a 350D and sigma lenses?

cheers gary I'll take a good look throught the settings..
Also been bad today and upgraded to a 30D,,,now whens that next match?????
