Thought I'd try my hands at a "product shot"...here's some of dad's cologne. I tried the compostion without the window, but it didn't look right to me, in other words since I had to make this sort of a high-keyish shot since I don't have studio lighting I felt the window added to the compostion and made it work. What you guys think?

Not too bad, but it could use some straightening. Both products are leaning slightly to the left.

Thought I'd see a nice hat.....

Not bad though. The lighting is interesting, you've handled your issues well. I do find myself straining to read the label on the smaller bottle. Perhaps reverse their order, larger in the back?

As an aside - I used to get a bottle of this every year for Christmas from my late mother-in-law. Hate the stuff! Never opend a bottle after the first year, just smiled and thanked her. Your photo brought back lots of fun memories for me though.

I like this lighting but id suggest putting the bottles in the middle or front end of the table that way you can eliminate the window and back wall. and i too would suggest cloning those holes out. they are quite distracting.

please reshoot it and show us the results.

Alright cool deal guys I'll try and address some of the problems you guys talked about. Oh and those "holes" you guys are referring to are destress marks put their to give it an antique look, I thought they kinda went with the picture, but I'll try and reshoot tomarrow without them or clone them out during the PP, I might also post a B&W and Sepia version as well to see if those work better.

Thanks for all the critique and kind words!
