One feature I do find annoying on my current Fuji digital is that the camera turns itself after a short time without use and I cannot override that.
I am now considering buying either a 10-D or a 300D Rebel and wondered if either of these models over-ride this function. And if so, for how long.
Sometimes, I like to capture 'a moment' in a hurry and once I've switched the camera on that moment has gone forever!

From the 10D users manual:

Ordered the 10D today so I already downloaded the manual. :D

Don't know about 300D, but I guess it does the same.

Johnmate,
I have the 300D and your suspicion is correct in that I have the same settings for the automatic power off settings.
