I am so upset with myself. Drove out to the Butterfly Trail at Eastern Neck Island today, in hopes of finding a shot for this week's contest.

Imagine my feelings when I got there and discovered I had left the memory card in the card reader ....at home - twenty miles away.

So, I will just be observing this week.

I keep a spare card and spare batteries in the front pocket of my case just in case. I too have learned the hard way.

I have 8 cards... it would really be something if I ended up somewhere without one.

I have 4 cards, it would also be very hard to end up with the camera and no cards somewhere.

Although I have left my one high speed card in the reader when Iv gone out.
Fortunatly its the sort of thing you only do once :)

I used to have two cards, but when I gave my old S2 to my son, I threw in the extra card. Meant to replace it, but you know about good intentions.....

I did the same thing at work. Trekked all the way from the second floor out to the parking lot in heels and a dress no less to take a picture for the yearbook only to find that I'd left the CF card in the computer at home.
