Since I'm a bird Lover, I figured i'd share my first post in the bird forum. This is with my brand new 70-200 f/4L Lens, First time I used it.

Critcism is appreciated ;)

that's a nice pic! welcome!!! yay i got to say that first!! you'll soon find out what a great place this is, you get to see some of the best pics of birds you'll ever see, then once your finished looking at my pics you can view everyone elses!! lol

Awsome picture of a male macaw. I have a female Blue and gold macaw will be 7yrs old this april. Just a great photo, and welcome to the site.

I'd like to echo all of Ted's comments. I agree about the tail.

Did you take any shots in portrait perspective versus landscape?

Thanks for the Comments and suggestions, and unfortunantly, I did not get any in portrait, or with the whole tail.

I was too infatuated with my new lens, and to scared to turn the camera for fear of dropping it! :)
