Canon L Lens 35-350mm F3.5-5.6 USM L
can anyone tell me what they think of this lens I am looking to get a lens that has a full range so I don't have to change lens so many times when I am doing a few diffrent things...
any input would be great thanks for all the help in advance..

Don't have one, but it looks like a beast (3.1 .lbs!).

Personally I like it better than the 100-400 IS!
The folks who base everything on "specs will whine that it isnt as sharp as something else, but what can you expect from a lens with that much differenc in focal length.
It is big, but not intrusively big. I handheld it all day without any trouble.

I have also suggested this lens for a (motorsports) shooting partner of mine. Sometimes this sharpness thing gets a little out of hand. I've seen some awesome stuff with this lens. I have the 100-400L and kinda wish I'd got this one at the time, though it has no IS. But I rarely use the IS anyway. Nice to read your feedback there MB. Thanks.
