Good for you Damian! Garcia has shaken off his injury since the international match. So now it's time to make some points.:D
Actually i also have my eyes on Alonso. Who step up more, Garcia or Alonso?
Garcia tends to come off the bench more, but he does have a penchant for scoring incredible goals (after missing a string of open chances), so there you go.

by a fullback no less! I thought Dirk Kuyt looked exciting when he came on as well, very threatening.
Am just looking at the rest of the results now, Mancs beast Watford 2-1, Arse lost to City 1-0 (!), Everton 2-0 Spurs (dammit :D).
hopfully my boys will score big tonight, otherwise it might be time to ring in a few changes.

I was right behind that shot - West Ham backed off and backed off and eventually he let fly. Stunner - reminded me of one Hansen scored a few years ago (25!!)
Kuyt looked sharp - excited by the prospect of his movement and link up play.

So, I have the team "manchester" but am not sure if I am doing things right...should I be doing something different then I am? I cant tell if I am leaving guys on the pitch that should be switched out or not...Well, i'm not an expert either. It's my 1st FFL :). What i did so far, is checking the teams' condition, see if anyone in my squad is injured, suspended, or got bench'ed a lot. If there is, i'll transfer them out and bring in cheaper, more effective(i know, it's too early in the season) players.
A few hours before the game, i lookup the actual lineup and see who is in the startup, and make some adjustment. THe BBC Sport website is quite informative. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/default.stm

Nothing like a Derby to bring out the best in people :-)
But at least Liverpool's is more friendly than Manchester's or Birmingham's....

It's hard to win without captain Henry, especially now MU has the double arrows back, aka Saha, Rooney. Too bad Giggs and Park are injured.
I think Mourinho might be able to keep his home game sheet clean. Worst case scenario, a draw. :)

Are you allowed to change your team after saturday's game before sunday's game starts? Or do you have to make decisions of your formation to cover the entire game week????
-kk-
26th of September 2006 (Tue), 03:11
there's a list of which games are included in which gameweek, if you do any changes now or during the current gameweek, it will only take effect in the next gameweek. so yes, you can do it in the weekend.

So I can have different players in saturday's line up and sunday's? According to the fixtures, of course. No, you can't. I think what Kelvin was saying(correct me if i'm wrong kelv), is that you are allowed to make changes anytime, but if the change is made on Saturday, it won't affect the next day(Sunday) game or the Monday game. The change only becomes effective in the next gameweek.;)

Have you benced the injured, hidden the embarassing ones, and put the hot ones on the pitch? :D
4-4-2, 4-3-3, or 3-4-3 this week?
