What i did so far, is checking the teams' condition, see if anyone in my squad is injured, suspended, or got bench'ed a lot. If there is, i'll transfer them out and bring in cheaper, more effective(i know, it's too early in the season) players.
A few hours before the game, i lookup the actual lineup and see who is in the startup, and make some adjustment. THe BBC Sport website is quite informative. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/default.stm

there's a list of which games are included in which gameweek, if you do any changes now or during the current gameweek, it will only take effect in the next gameweek. so yes, you can do it in the weekend.

I was away(traveling) for 2 weeks and i moved up to #6, not too bad. That was my 1st 60-point week. :cool:
