I would like to go to a location this Winter to spend a few days taking "snow" landscapte picutres. I am open to exploring New York/New England area.

Does anyone have anyone have any suggestions for a good spot for this?

Thanks
Jeff

Sorry I can't help you. I live in Aspen, Colorado and there are plenty of great places here.

any of the northern New England states would be wonderful Vermont is wonderful, lots of good bed and breakfast to stay in they fill up fast if your near any ski areas but then again thats a whole photo op in its self
Maine is another good choice you can get some great winter coastal shots, My choice would be Vermont from central area north towards Stowe than Maine and New Hampshire in New Hampshire I pretty much stick around the Mount Washington area.-

Another idea is Northern NY, like in the Adirondacks, especially in the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid area, or Lake George area. There is also a really small town called Fine in NY and Edwards, NY. You might go there for shots of or on the Oswegatchie River. There are literally thousands of places you could check out. I have yet to go to Vermont and that way up the Northeastern US. I've seen a lot of cool fall foliage shots from that way. Put it this way, Appalatian Mountains are a good bet for pics. There is also around Lake Colby in New York that I remember as being pictoresque in summer. No reason it should be any different in winter, other than a lot colder. Be ye warned that it can get very cold there if you're not used to it!
