"Black Jag"

(I found this Jaguar posed perfectly in front of an antique store in my home town. I only had 2 minutes to shoot before a car moved into the open spot in front of the Jaguar)

ISO speed 200, Focal length 28mm, Exposure Program: Aperture Priority, Exposure bias -0.67, Canon 30d, Canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6, f/3.5, 1/100 with available light
Shot outside

I'm new to photography, please go easy on me.. I can't move any of the cars I shoot because I don't know anyone with nice cars. I love car photography, and this is my best shot.

I like it.

I like the color of the bricks of the building. I like the look of the jag and it's placement in the frame. The only think I might think of doing, is when you learn photoshop some, to lighten up the lower half of the car just a tiny bit. Just enough to bring out some detail. As it is, it is just too much of a black hole.

For me, the scene has one subject - the building.

You ask yourself, why didn't he wait until there was no car parked in front?

Since you are claiming that the Jag is the subject, I have to suggest that it be placed in a setting in which it dominates and that you give it a more exciting perspective.

Thank you very much. I appreciate that! RadTech.

The slight black corners were caused by using a hood in low light.

Good Point Robert. I'll consider this with upcoming car photos :)
