I like it, but the pines look almost HDR to me...Maybe if they were a little more underexposed they'd look more natural.

I really like the colors and composition on this shot. The trees pull you right in to it and give the shot a lot of depth. Really well done.

I totaly agree,in a real world photo (ie film),you wouldn`t be able to see the inside of the left trunk very clearly as the sun light would cast a shadow there.
A wee touch of contrast in the fg would work great IMHO.

Beautiful picture, but the first thing I thought was "HDR" and then I looked at the replies, and nodded my head.
What was your workflow like?

tomcio, was the lower half of the picture taken at the same time as the upper? The lighting on the water that's washing up on shore on the right doesn't seem to match that of the sun's angle. I could be imagining things, though. :)

Thank you guys. This was shot in RAW and had 3 exposures (-2, 0, +2) blended.
