My 1st attempt with a grasshopper

I just got my Rebel XT and tried this pic with a Tamron 70-300 with macro mode from 180-300. This little bugger really blended in. Comments? Is it decent? Could it have been better? If so, how? Thanks.

Excellent shot :)
You'll find you get slightly better quality pics if you use that lens at the 70mm end with a set of Kenko tubes although the focus distance will be much shorter. you will get higher magnifications (nearly 1:1)
