I didn't know where else to post this, so if it needs to be moved no problem.

I was wondering if anyon has used the wallflower digital picture frames???

www.wallflower-systems.com

I have so many pictures that i love and not enough wall space. So i was thinking of buying this picture frame. it has a 30gig hard drive wi-fi built in and other great features. has anyone used one???

thanks

I haven't used the Wallflower, but I do have the Kensington Plus as well as a non-networked Kodak SmartFrame.
The first purchase was the Kensington, and it displays fine, but you need their software and a USB cable to change the slide show. Since I wanted the frame in my office at work, it was a hassle to take the frame home to change it.
Then I got the SmartFrame. This is just what I want for now. I snapped up all the small CF cards I thought I would need, and now I create 'photo albums' on CF cards. When I want to change the mood, I switch the card.
A little long-winded (sorry), but the point is look at how the software deals with the images, and what it takes to change the slide show. Also find out what resolution is recommended. It sounds like the frame is big enough to use higher resolutions. Look at how long it takes to load the next image, and if you have large image files and a short interval (5 seconds, for example), you may have a delay displaying the next image.
Have Fun

I am also very, very interested in any more info anyone might have on these digital picture frames.

Does anyone have any info or links to other digital frames? Preferably the larger 14 to 17 inch ones.

Thanks,

Jack
