Not the best foreground that I would consider; too much distraction. But nevertheless I still like the colors.

Toomz:
I like the people on the beach. it gives this a sense of perspective. AND the sunset is beautiful and you've captured it well.
Thanks for sharing.

I like the fg personally and I really think the colors are absolutely amazing in this photo. And maybe its just me, but I would have gotten closer to get a better silhouette. Great photo nonetheless! Beautiful sky.

Superb suset with stunning colours.
If you cann`t find a good fg,get very low down and get the texture of the sand.
How does that sound?

YES! Great picture. Not the variety of colors as in the first one, but I think it's a much better capture of a sunset and silhouette (well, sort of a silhouette). Did you use a yellow filter on that one or was that color achieved in photoshop?

Hmm.. that could work out but I've not tried anything close to this before.
I would suppose HDR will be the only way to even clearly show the texture of the sand with the sunset. I could give it a try next time when I meet a nice sundown :)

The warm in the scene was further pushed up in PS until I can afford some filters

HDR requires a tripod,in which case, why don`t you get a nd grad filter to give you far superia and more natural pictures?
