Just snapping away in the garden today trying to get used to the new 350D.
Any comments?

Actually, looking at the again, I don't like the second photo one bit! Berries are out of focus and the watermark is too large and bold.
Pretend the second photo isn't there!!

I agree.
But the first one is nice!

Exposure and textures in the first image are quite nice. Is this a Grace tree?

dont know much about flora but i like your first pic, what camera did you have before the 350d? some people upgrading to dslr seem to take time to get used to the camera , im expecting a new 350d on my doorstep today between 8.30am and 4.45pm , if its not delivered within this time frame i will go looking for the post man/woman even if it means going to their house, i thought it would arrive today, i hope my first shots come out as good as yours

In all honesty I haven't a clue what type of tree it is  sorry!....Just a purple thing in my garden!
Well the 350D is my first camera, only had it for 2 weeks. Just trying to get out and use it as much as possible.
