I'm supposed to take a picture of a window display during the day and yesterday I tried, but I got ALOT of glare from the light in the background. So, how do you eliminate glare from your overall picture? If you can't, I'll just go back at a later time. Thanks!

UV filter? or another type of filter

You need a Polorizer / Poloriser filter, you turn it while looking through the lens and glare will dissapear also increases color.

Youll need to be careful if your lens turns when you focus as it will turn the filter too

Polarizing filters will eliminate most of the glare, but that depends on the quality of filter. They don't "increase" colours as such. They produce more saturated greens and blues in the sky and things such as trees.
