How do I upload a movie back to my camera?
I've taken some movie shots, transferred it to my PC, deleted the copy on my camera. Now I want to upload back some of the movies that I've taken, but the Canon software can't seem to do this? Anybody has a solution?
I'm using Canon IXUS II (aka SD100)...

Don't know about ur camera specifically, but on mine (A70), a simple card reader/writer does the job just fine.
As for just using the usb cable, never seen anything to do it, and if the movies of edited, then thats a whole world of pain to get them to work.
I hate that card reader writers are the solution to many problems but they do a very good job.

Thanks for the reply. I suppose a card reader/writer is a good workaround, albeit an expan$ive one.
Is there another way? Maybe via third party software maybe?

Well if you can transfer images then u can transfer video's, but as for software that does it, don't think it exist's. U could always write ur own.
Readers arn't that expensive over here, u don't have to buy the most expensive ones around.

BTW - If you haven't kept the .THM file that goes with the movie clip your camera won't play it even if you do put the movie back!
So far I have found no way to get my A70/80 to play a movie I have edited.

What u can actualy use is another thumbnail image. Its worked for me, bit confusing though.
When its in the 9x[ ] mode, it uses the thumnail, but when u just have it 1x[ ], i think it takes the first frame of the video and makes that a picture.
I found it out by re-naming my thumnails.

What do you mean by the 9x and 1x modes?
I am trying to upload a 320x240 15fps MJPEG AVI to my Powershot S70 and it hasn't worked yet. Do you know of some secret to getting this to work.
Any help is appreciated.
