Hello,
This is my first post on this forum. I like the idea of a CANON forum very much.
How do you like my picture of a horse' eye?

TIA

It is either out of focus or victim of camera shake. The crop doesn't work for me either. At first I thaught it was an elephant, then I took a second look.

elfiehHi elfieh,
Welcome to the forum!:D
The photo is slightly too small to judge. Post a bigger version so it's easier for others to comment on. :)

Hi again,

Here is a larger version of the horse picture. This photo was not cropped - the original is 2304 X 3456.
Thanks for the feedback!

I am still learning A B C 's of photography. Can some one please help me to understand which part looks out of focus.
I feel eyes are well in focus. (I don’t understand well, so may be its mistake from my side)

Here is a picture of a young bald eagle taken in the wild. He was on the edge of the lake, so this was the only way to get a picture of him.
What do you think?
TIA,

Hi and welcome to the forum. I had a look at your gallery - some great images there. I like the horse's eye - an unusual way of working. I wish we had eagles close by! I think it suffers a bit from the background - which I know you can't control.
Looking forward to seeing some of those lake shots here.

I like your style
Me too!
Welcome to the forum.
#1 image:
I like your focus, your exposure and your comosition. The eye suggests that the horse is very gentle.
#2 image:
I like the style and the composition. The eaglet looks a little soft and under exposed on my monitor.

This picture was taken from our deck. Have seen as many as 18 bald eagles in those trees on the right.
Thanks for the feedback!

Do you have photoshop? If so, adjust the shadows to create a fill flash on the eagle. The landscape pic is great. Wish I had that to wake up to.

Wow. Much better. Take a look at adding a slight bit of contrast and some saturation too. image>>adjustments>>contrast and saturation. See if you can bring his (her?) color out a little too. Nice job!
PS. It's "benandbobbi" with an "i". Bobby with a "y" is a dude. ;-)
