Captured this a few weeks ago just before sunset. Taken from the riverside at Durham using the bandstand to frame the Cathedral and Castle.

That's very clever framing, David. Even for you :D !
Lovely work

I like this very much! The soft colors through the frames are really beautiful. Nice job!

It works for me too, David.
I like the idea of individually framing both the Castle and the Cathedral in the same image.
Clever !

Hi David, only just spotted your excelent piece of work, great vision to have come up with this, walk past it most days with my dog and have never thought of this angle.
Another great piece of work - something to asipire to!
Kind regards Alan.
P.S. the panorama attempt I have just posted was shot from about the same place just over the river.

Thanks for all the comments - although I've passed this thousands of times before it's the first time I had noticed how the castle and cathedral are framed one in each window. Just shows that you can miss the obvious and always worth revisiting images a few times.
Alan, I think you're Pano aspires quite well - I wouldn't have thought of taking a pano from that angle - so you too have great vision. Thanks for your comments
