Here's an experimental shot I took on a clear, moonlit night at about midnight. The full moon had just hid behind a tree and looked so spectactular.
C&C is encouraged. :D I'm working on composition.
Thanks,

Here's another that I took a bit later and I thought the reflection in the pool was nice. The only thing I did to this one was tweaked the curves and colors to get a bit more detail... not cropping this time.

The second one, with the reflection in the pool is outstanding. Very beautiful.
I wish the moon in the sky looked more like a moon (I realize that is the inevitable result of the exposure). You might try desaturating the sky and moon about halfway to at least get rid of the off-color (do not desaturate anything else).
Great picture, though.

The first one is a bit noisy, but I really like it! That tree sure stands out and the moon is so bright!
Very nice!

I really struggled with these pics, opting for a longer exposure to get as many details as possible. As a result, the moon has no detail and is just a big bright light in the sky and distorted. In the first one, the original photo has the moon really distorted and flared, but during PP I was able to bring that down and make it a more uniform shape. I will try desaturating the moon in the second one to see what it will do. Thanks!!

#1 is favorite to, just not as much favorite as 2. But if I had #2 that would be good because it is more favorite. But both are favorites, but 2 is more favorite than 1. :D
Sorry all... a little inside joke with the Ruffian. :D
I'm going to work on desaturating #2.

That pool looks familiar, are you in central Pa?

Nope, north-west PA. A little town called Franklin. It's about halfway between Pittsburgh and Erie.
