Took this outside...there was some sun coming through so I used fill flash with the lightsphere diffuser. Tell me what you guys think. Any C&C is much welcomed!! I'm always looking to get better. Anything even small from framing, to lighting, to posing etc.

I'd fix the overexposure in the background.

The post in the middle is quite distracting. The overexposed background is also distracting even though you used a fill flash. The left side (of the camera) looks better than very bright right side. If you can, try to have them sit on the left side, away from the post and away from the bright background, and compare the results.

I'd bring them in tight together, lose the sunglasses on mom and come in nice and close. I like close crops unless the background is telling something about teh story.

Great looking couple first of all Dimitri! Second, I agree with everyone else, tighten it up, lose the post and the ketchup bottle and lets see mom's pretty eyes or an alternative would be to have dad put his glasses on too, but under the gazebo I'd prefer them both without the glasses. Also curious if you could have blurred the background a bit with the lowest f stop possible I'm guessing 2.8 with that lens? I hope you post more of them, they are a great looking couple!

I'd love to shoot more at that location as there were a lot of possibilites. Unfortunately that was the backyard of a pub in a small town where they basically put two gazebos and some patio to make a really nice homey feel. The place is about 2 hours away from home too. So I'll have to do something else.

How young do you think my parents look? (just curious :D)
