Normally, just moisture from an exhale is enough, but to remove gunk (fingerprints) I use mythel hydrate. It's poisonous and flammable, but dirt cheap from hardware stores. It won't damage plastics, lens coatings or most finishes, but works great at loosening and removing grime. Evaporates extremly fast (it's 99.9% pure alcohol).
It removes some ink and paint so becareful.
I've been using it for about 10 years or so (need to buy yet another bottle soon.)

Tissues: any soft clean cotton, silicon impregnated cloth or lint free cloth. Never use facial tissue.
