I am getting really annoyed with myself now.

Recently i have lost many decent photos because i have accidently switched the lens to MF. It is really beging to bug me. I wish they would make these sliding switches a little stiffer so they are not easily switched over.

Do you ever do this? It tends to be with my loger lenses when i am supporting it.

Ideas? anyone?

On my 350D I used to always catch one of reat the buttons with my nose

I've lost good snapshots because I frequently turn off the AF for portrait situations. You might need to work it into your routine or train yourself to look for some visual feedback before firing. For example, look for the red AF point in your viewfinder to confirm AF is active and on the correct subject. Absence of an AF point should alert you that AF may be off.

on the 350D, ive been know to bump the shoot-select mode (from mulit-shot to timer) thus missing photos :(
