I have sold my old Sony Mavica and want to step up to a camera that will make quality enlargements to 8X10. I am a casual user will use the camera for taking family photos as well as scenery (sunsets, mountains, etc.).
I only have USB 2.0 and do not have FireWire.
I am zeroing in on the S50 and G5.
What are the appreciable differences between the two? The G5 has many more features but are they manageable for the casual user?
Is it worth the extra $$$ for it?
Also, by purchasing it at an online camera store, are you buying the same camera that is offered at local stores for a higher price?Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
