First time posting....I took this early in the morning around 6:30 a.m. in Rockport Texas. C & C....Welcome.—RD

Welcome!! I like it but the foreground is a little too much, try cropping some out maybe?

Agree with 98photo about cropping some of the bottom away. Nice shot though.

I did convert it....the original was in color. I converted it through Photoshop CS. I went to the top of the menu to image, converted it to black and white, and just adjusted the brightness and contrast a bit. :D

imho, you should crop the sky a little.. somewhere right above the tree..

i'm not professional but i like the depth the sky adds.
i agree- the ground should be cropped out.

I agree on both accounts. The capture is fantastic, but either the sky or foreground should be cropped. :)

When you convert a color image to B&W like that, you lose a lot of information within that image. I get very good results using channel mixer.

I didn't think about the channel mixer....I'll had to play with it and try it out next time......thanks....:D
