QM2 funnel

Hi everyone,

I'm new and this is my first photo uploaded. Taken while on vacation and had to try to be creative. A funnel shot of the Queen Mary 2 in Acapulco while I was on vacation. CC welcome. Be gentle as I am just starting. Straight out of the camera. A little blown out, but it brings back memories. :confused:

The couple "taking in the views" make the photo for me , gives it a bit of a romantic feel , maybe its no bad thing it looks a little soft , taking it the atmosphere rather than studying the detail.
I see the "Queens" quite often here in Southampton and am fond of them both , I know they took the horn from the old Queen Mary and used it on the QM2 , i wonder if thats it on the right of the funnel.

You are correct sir. The whistle on the starboard is the same from the middle funnel of the original Queen Mary. I am jealous of your view in Southampton. It was quite an event here in Long Beach when the two Queen Mary's finally met. I didn't care for the image at first, but it has grown.

Looks interesting - have any others?

I find it's sometimes best to lower the jpegs pixal count below the maximum allowed here - otherwise with the file size allowed all too often you end up with a fuzzy mess.
