While driving, I sometimes choose to take photos... Well this morning was one of those mornings, I was in a rush so I couldnt stop and take the photo, but the clouds were beautiful over the ocean and I had my camera so I thought why not. I dont nkow if I like this photo or not, it is boring... but I usually take photos with a lot of action, so I have a hard time critiquing myself on "scenery" shots.

Gosh lately I have been shooting all black and white film, so I guess I am in to doing black and white, that is why this isnt color, haha though it was digital. But... this is on the gulf of mexico anyways and the water is brown so there isnt much being missed.

It is tough .. but a beautiful image, to use your framework (OK you asked for it!)

Just the wonderful sea.. the line of sun hitting the horizon... the vast, random areas shadow areas on the ocean that mix with light to convey wetness, and a threatening sort of tension... the rain in the clouds
A fine shot as far as it goes.

Howie-

Thanks (You like my format, huh?... it is original and copywritten to me.. maybe I should do "thumbs up to:©" LOL)

Anyways, thanks for the reply. Yup, I think it rained later that day, I dont remember, but over the ocean it could be raining, and never end up hitting the shore, the ocean is so crazy, I have lived by the ocean now for 4 months, and it is different every day... and every minute of the day. I spent a couple hours or so out by the ocean today taking some photos of fishermen (film so nothing to show yet... just developed the negatives actually)... and the water went from extremely smooth at 4:00 to extremely rough at 5:30.

Just thought I would type some, so I feel less lonley like I have someone to talk to haha
