This was taken with my G2 with an infrared lens of the Virgin River in Zion National Park. Due to the purple color of the infrared, this picture was processed using "Picture It Publishing" by microsoft.

Wow,. incredible. I love this infra red stuff and it works so well with this image. The water is exquisite and yet so simple,. I don't know why it appeals to me so much.

Beautiful image ... CDS said it all so eloquently.

The river looks like chocolate pudding filled with trout ! One wonders where the mountain will take us and whether the tree is filled with yellow leaves.

CDN I think I know why it appeals to you...

The grass and the trees are very bright, suppose the brightness suggests the light green color and the sunshine, but the river is unusualy dark, has almost no reflections yet it is obvious that it is crystal clear, therefore giving the impression it runs deep, it's misterious, almost scary.

At least that's why I like it :)
