Can someone tell me which flash bracket to use with the Canon G3 and the Canon Speedlite 420EX with the Canon off-shoe cord 2? Will a bracket such as the Stratos Mini Digital Folding Bracket work using the Canon off-shoe cord 2? Tell me your suggestions. Please help. Bob

What are you intending to do with the flash on the bracket. If it is macro work, then I use the Kirk Butterfly Flash Bracket.

I saw the Stratos Mini Bracket at a local camera store and immediately thought that it might be a more lightweight, portable option for the G3 than the Stroboframe "Professional" model I have been using.

My only question would be durability. I didn't try fitting the camera and flash on the bracket (didn't have them with me) but it seems to be just a bit flimsy. I could be wrong.

Let us know if you decide to try this product and what kind of results you obtain. It isn't cheap as far as brackets go but if it seems durable it might be a viable option.
