Help Building a model's portfolio

Hi, my brother is an aspiring model and he want's me to build him a porfolio. The thing is that most of my experience is in family portraiture and I don't know where to start with his porfolio. I have been looking on the internet for samples but most of them are of women. Does anybody have any tips on doing this? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks.:D

great link tim, there are actually a couple books there that i was looking at.

alexis, the only other thing i might suggest is to ask him, maybe he has a pro model contact that would let you look at a real pro portfolio... seeing one in person might make it a bit easier to build one on your own.

definately dont be afraid to read up, as tim suggested.
