Please help! I apologise if this is a very silly query- I couldn't find any previous threads.
I have lots of annotated photos on my Zoombrowser for Canon G1 on my PC lapttop which I would like to transfer to a Mac OS X laptop. Will it be possible to do that without losing my notes on the images?
Thank you in advance

You do have the PC laptop and Mac laptop both available, don't you? So why you don't just try it out: copy a directory with the images and other files to the Mac and try to open them with ZoomBrowser on the Mac, and see if it works...

I use both a Dell laptop and a Mac laptop running 10.2x. You should be able to transfer files directly as follows:
Prepare PC by putting files you want transferred into Shared Folder.
1. On Mac, choose System Preferences >Sharing.
2. Select 'Personal File Sharing' (top button) and 'Windows File Sharing' (2nd button). Return to Finder view.
3. Connect crossover cable from Mac to PC.
4. Turn on PC
5. After PC boots, type Command-K on Mac keyboard.
6. Window will open on Mac. It will find PC automatically. Choose where you want to enter - double click. You will be asked to sign in to the PC with its password. Click Open.
7. PC icon will appear on your desktop. Open it up. Drag the files wherever you want them.
8. PC icon to the trash.
9. Done. Disconnect.
(It is simpler to do than describe)
(Info taken from Pogue's fine Mac OSX manual)
You can work it the other way, too, but I usually do it the easy, Mac way. It's built in to the system software.
Have fun. Your PC friends will experience 'shock and awe.'
