Rumors of an update to entrylevel? Compete against 370?
They also mention a fixed lens like the Pro1:

Anybody hear about Canon replacing the pro1?

I would be surprised if Nikon sat back and did nothing. Bottom line is this is still rumor based and info coming out of someones blog doesn't qualify as firm info.
I remember Photokina a couple of years ago and the hype it was getting coming up to its date. It turned out to be a non-event and then everyone was extremely disappointed.

Next in line for update would be the d2h to d3h followed by d3x and fullframe
Nikon has already said they have no intrest in FF, so this is all just speculation

So what about the single lens prosumers? Both Nikon and Canon have not been delivering any new models for some time. Or did they not sell well enough?

It's the 400D not 370D and Nikon already announced the D80 a couple of weeks ago.
