Well Nifty had a great fall last week as some may have read. So as I was ordering a new one and some cleaning supplies today a 17-40 L appeared in my shopping cart. I am not sure how it happened but I am looking forward to it's arrival tomorrow!

I'll trade you my "NEW" Nifty-Fifty for it, since you should replace it. I will suck it up and take the 17-40L instead.

Love that 17-40L for just about any outdoor situation. You will see a dramatic difference in color and sharpness. I have that lens on my EOS 3 most of the time for landscapes.

i tell you the hackers are up to no good again. playing tricks like putting worthless things like a 17-40L in your shopping cart.....when will it all end!!! WHEN!!!!

Well I don't know exactly what happen to me that day (two weeks ago)
when I go to a shop looking for a 77mm UV filter and I went out with a 20D body :lol:

a so-so pic ... I will take an awesome one instead !!!

Errors with camera = bad shots at 99,99%
Errors while browsing camera equipment shops = something nice could happen

but I'm not sure that yours was an error, though ... ;)
