Hi,

I need to place an invisible button (like a slice .. but not) over an image in dreamweaver, or another suggested program.

Problem: My site is built in imageready. I love the photo-like quality but I hate HATE the way the slices load. I am thinking I can set the image as the background and use invisible buttons over the "links".

Please help if you have any info.

Thanks!

Bethany

Hi Bethany, sounds to me like you are talking about Hotspots?

Hit F1 in Dreamweaver and search hotspots or image maps or Google "Dreamweaver Hotspots"

HTH! :)

Ahh... it really helps to know what it is called! Thanks! I will check that out as soon as I get home.

Hmm, I reckon your page would load a lot faster as a single mapped picture. I counted about 300k of info when I loaded it.

I've had a similar problem when I started my new site (still working on it) and decided to make two slices. mind you, mine is straight boring and untricky html...
