Hi everyone,

i am new in this forum. After many months of research on a new digital cam (I used to own a 1.2 & 2.2 Kodack cam before!), I came to the conclusion that the A80 offered me the best quality/price ratio (at this time!). Beside his flimsy CF panel door, I am very satisfied. The LCD is one of the "gadget" I was looking for! I do digital video & I really appreciate this thing (shooting angle).

I am looking for a Web site that as lesson on how to maximized my new A80, especially in the manual mode. Looking for something behond the regular manual (or PDF style). Have use it only in auto (and appreciated the moderate video) but want to do more with it!

Thanks for any help you can give me.

You might want to look at general basics of photography so that you are comfortable in manual mode. Check you local library for suitable books (there should be half a dozen at least.) Check out a few of them, and read 'em.

I have not heard of any A80 or A70 specific web pages that explore getting the most out of the camera.

Have fun with the camera, take lots of pictures and explore.
