Rebel XT - First Car Pics

I really hate how this turned out. I realize now that the lake background wasnt too good of an idea. The sun was out, I won't do that again either.

Heres what I used,

Rebel XT Kit Lens

Aperture Priority @ F9

1/125, ISO200, Cicular Polarizer, UV Filter

Raw Coverted Edited with PS CS2 slight USM Applied.

Any help is appreciated.

Not crazy about the crop.
Wires, lines hanging below rear axle?
Turn on image editing in user cp, you'll probably get lot's of help!

Thats a nitrous main line hanging below the car, I know it looks bad. I just wanted to try out the camera and cp.

and id fix that nos line before it gets caught onto something.
