The good thing about an antsnest is that there are plenty of ants and that the nest wil stay there for a while :D
So no more searching for insects to shoot, I just jump on my bike and pay them a visit whenever I want.
Gear: 30D MP-E 65 420EZ+softbox

I found two ants that were taking a caterpillar home.
That must have been a dayjob with al the needles laying around, they had 10 more meters to go.
The caterpillar was still alive.

WOW! Those are top notch, last one is fabulous. Wouldnt like to be that caterpillar when they get back to the nest!

Way to go, Edwin! What a fabulous series! Although I can't think of many people heading towards an ants' nest...

Very sharp series, Excellent work, on par with the recent article and photos on Ants I just read in National Geographic, some are even better. Impressive.:D :D :D
