My first attempt at the milky way. I got the idea from a gentleman's website who was kind enough to post most of the exif so I could try what he had done. Until I get an equatorial mount I'll just have to live with trying to get a good shot this way. :)
Canon 20d, 10-22 @ 10mm, f5.0, iso 3200, 94 seconds,mirror lockup, noise reduction on, remote cable, neat image. and no moon. Being high up in the mountains far away from any source of light pollution no doubt helped as well.
