Can some of you tell me what you think of this picture? I am new to photography so all suggestions are appreciated.

Let's see... it's close to perfect (for my tastes). And whatever isn't perfect, I couldn't tell you.

It's got everything going for it: interest, mood, color, composition, cropping. On a compression note, I'll tell you that ACDSee 2.43, set on 85% quality (20% more than it has to be), resized this to 133Kb.

I'm sure that whatever program you're using could compress it a bit better without any visible loss of quality.

Cheers,

Don

Great photo! I am glad the the tender (and ladder) was there for scale...

I seriously almost mistook the square scuppers for cannon ports!!! It was the little tender that brought me back to reality and gave me a clue to the actual size and vintage of the tired old vessel.

Beautiful shot ... super exposure -- when one compares the misty far-side shoreline.

thumbs up to:
*Compsotion
*Color
*Mood

thumbs down to:
*Nothing... Well the highlight to the right of the boat is slightly blown out (no details in it) but... nothing to do about that...

I like the picture a lot!

I really like this..

Mostly, I think I'm taken by that mix of age and use and the vibrancy of the colour. The rest has been said.

Well done.
