Image and focus is quite nice.
OK, I'll bite on this....cloth flowers with clear glue as the wetting agent?

Looks like a lovely image ... the camera seems great ... makes me wonder what the "perfect" rose image would say.

Yes, indeed. The one that came with the kit.

Yep, it is a fake flower. Also the lighting was not natural. It is a household 200 watt bulb. The camera is just two days old, and am too lazy to go out and get a real flower to shoot. May be I will do it soon...
Thanks for all your comments!

thumps up to:
*EXCELLENT job with the photo, you seem to understand the camera, that is great!
thumps down to:
*Color correction in photoshop, it just needs to be a little, um, brighter.
*Be less lazy and get a real flower :-) hehe

Very nice! Very red (but that's a good thing)! I agree with Brent, a tad more "oomph" in the color would make it awesome. Good job!

I agree that the color could be improved. Since the rose had little droplets on it, I wanted to give it an early morning effect. I tried adding more brightness while keeping the lighting, but couldnt get the right mix I guess. Anyway, I'll keep trying!
Thanks for the comments!
