Question on LinearSharpen

I tried LinearSharpen action and got very strange results.
Very very bright output in general.
I am not very good in using Potoshop.
When I run LinearSharpen in mode when it asks for
parameters values it looks like I did not provide
proper values.
When I run LinearSharpen in auto mode (when it does not
asks any prompts from me) it looks like it uses old values
which were used before - not the proper values.
So I got different results using same action on same image.
According to what I read LinearSharpen should work
automatically without any data correction from my side.
Does anyone know what I did wrong?

sudaplatov: You should convert the RAW files to 16-bit linear TIFFs in order to use LinearSharpenig.
