I thought some people might be interested in a 1GB compact flash card. I personally use smaller ones but this sounds like a good deal from Kingston for $199 and free shipping. I've used all brands of cards and the Kingstons have been very reliable. I like Simpletechs, Sandisk and Lexar as well but these seem to be a little less expensive. Maybe a Christmas present for yourself?

I wonder how my wife would like a couple 1-gig CF cards for Christmas instead of the diamond earings?

Hmmmmmmmm.

Maybe not my best idea ever.

Jim:
Saw some of your boat races on Speed Channel this morning. Great fun.

There is a series of British greetings cards which feature Eric the penguin and his friends. In one of them, Eric tells one of his friends "My wife asked for something with lots of diamonds for Christmas."
"What did you get her?"
"A pack of cards."
