For 4 months my Windows 98 PC recognized my G3. Suddenly it quit doing so. I checked the communication mode on the camera and it was "normal", not "ftp".
I have attempted to reload the software after uninstalling everything associated with Canon. I have followed every suggestion in the Troubleshooting section of the software manual. Everytime it says driver not found even when I point to the proper folder. Anyone else had this problem/Anyone solved it?

I was having a problem in Win98 a few months ago - I found that if I had an open connection to the net everything worked fine but without it I got the same error as you and ZoomBrowser would quit.

Try making sure that you've got a web connection and try again.

I definitely have had a live DSL connection throughout. Just the same, thanks for the suggestion.

Returned from 4-day holiday and found G3 was recognized first time I connected to my PC. I have no explanation, but delighted after many failed attempts earlier.
