Hi everyone
We all know how lovely it is to take pictures of flowers straight after a heavy rain.
I just loved the way all these raindrops were sitting on the rose, had to shoot it.

Than you both marie and fee for your kind words.
Beachgirl,i must admit that you are not the first to ask me this, yes of cours i have in the past, countless of them.
Still to this day i delete pictures from my web site (last night to be precise) because i think they are not good enough to be there.
As your standards grow high, your past pictures look rubbish,i`m still not very happy with the quality of my shots,i suppose thats human nature, always trying to improve.
Thank you for the complement anyway.:D

dimitri, we are in a very big drought, our dam levels are down to 27%, and we are about to hit water restriction level 4, that is, no watering of the garden full stop from tap water. At the moment we may use a bucket (no hoses), and i am using the grey water from the shower to keep my plants alive. I tell you, i am sick of carting buckets of water everywhere! When i was in darwin, i stood under the shower for 20 minutes, heaven!! Here it is a quick hop in, hop out:cry:

Thats shoking Tina, and you are suppose to be during spring now if i`m correct.:shock::shock:
Do you not have wells or any kind of underground water sources like deep drillings etc.?

it is spring now, well, officially sep 1st, but it's hot again now. Yesterday ipswich reached 34deg c. No wells, at least not in the city. We only have dams and huge controversy about methods of creating water i.e. water from recycled sewerage, desalination plants, new dams etc.Mind you, a new dam is only helpful if it rains! brisbane has experienced phenominal population growth, which has added to the troubles.
