Hiya All,
I've popped up from the Macro Forum which is where I normally post, Has anyone here had any experience of the Canon's High Power Flash HF-DC1 as a supplementary flash for the S3 IS please ?????

I have some major probs with shooting Macro shots in very low light plus the lens adapter casts a shadow in some shot positions, As you can see the close ups are no prob it's only the long shots that seem to be affected.

I know the simple answer is to crop it out but that defeats the object of trying to show where the situation the critter was in.

Any advise much appreciated
Cheers for now
Mark :) :)

I have used the HF-DC1, and it can help you with those shadows from the adapter, you can also use it as a bounce flash, placing it directly in a tripod or hand holding it. It's remotely fired, by the built in flash of the camera

Hiya Estrugo,
Many thanks for you reply, all I have to do now is locate one here in the UK, I thought about mounting it on one of those flexible arms that some people use.
Cheers for now
