Bibble Pro vs. RawShooter Premium

I'm evaluating both of these RAW image processing programs and like features of both. Which do you feel provides the best set of tools and offers the easiest design for processing lots of RAW files at a time? Is there another program I should also consider?

Raw shooter no longer around Adobe bought them out. I own both programs and dont use either one. I just use ACR in photoshop or dpp that came with my camera.

I'm happy with RawShooter Premium, Too bad it's now discontinued, The 30D may be the last camera it will work with.

After the so-called demise of RSP I decided to try Bibble just out of curiosity. Not a bad program but I wasn't partial to their user interface. It did an acceptable job of the raw conversions though.

In the end I will be sticking with C1. It the one program that I always keep coming back to as it gives the most consistent results for my liking. They are however considerably more expensive than most others but they have the results and the user community to justify it.

Depends upon which features you speak of. I also like bibble, but have noticed the Perfectly Clear technology, as it is adopted in bibble, periodically does not analyze captures correctly and produces false colors. on the other hand, PC has produced some nice stuff. I mention that because if you are looking at the PC technology as a leading feature or possible deciding factor, you may want to hold off. The company that licenses the PC technology to bibble is coming out with their own stand-alone application in the very near future, and it will supposedly offer much more user control over the technology. /Dan.

I really liked (still like?) RSP, but I find myself getting farther away from still using it, knowing it will not be updated, but then again, should I care? I tried Bibble and tried to like it, but it didn't cut it with this RSP users. Tried Lightroom, and I like it, but right now in beta, it is a bit slow and the user interface needs some work. It does a lot of stuff, and that isn't necessarily a good thing.

I find that I am going back to DPP2.1 more and more, and since I still shoot an old model Canon, features in DPP that are on the newer bodies, actually work in the software on my older camera. And sometimes DPP just makes a better conversion than RSP does.

I will stay with RSP until I either upgrade my camera and can on longer use it or Lightroom 1.0 has the speed it is lacking in BETA, Hopefully when it is released it will incorporate a lot of what we like in RSP.

Would have been cheaper for Adobe to buy RSP, slap a new splash screen on it, and release. Probably be a better product too.
