Duck shot... sort of!

Took these pics of a canadian goose (I think) with Dads canon 20d( as I would a 350d or a 400d...hint,hint ;) ) and sigma 70-300mm at on my hols in Norfolk.
Im only 11 so any tips would be great.

Nice job of focusing on the eyes; They are both very nice. I like the second shot best, though I do like the tilted head on the first . You're also right on the Canadian Goose. Great job!
