Upon Pekka's strong recommendation, I'm going to do a new install of EE 1.5.
Exactly which items do I need to download and install?

All the instructions can be found here:

Follow the instructions carefully, its not that hard.

I'm afraid that doesn't answer the question I was thinking of. Let me be more specific:
I'll start with EE1.5, B4, FP1 because it is at the top of the page and labelled "Full Install".
1. Then do I go to the bottom of the page and download and install these in order: EE1.5, B4, FP2; EE1.5, B5, FP-; EE1.5, B5, FP1; EE1.5, B5, FP2?
Or do I:
2. Install EE1.5, B4, FP1; then only EE1.5, B5, FP2?
Or do I:
3. Install only EE1.5, B4, FP1 and stop?
Or do I:
4. Do something entirely different from 1, 2, or 3 above?
Is there a place which tells me what I am supposed to download and install?
I WILL get this working! (With your help, that is!)

Sorry for a delay, I had to disassemble by PC for adding two 160GB SATA drives (I needed a safe RAID system for storing RAW originals).

That's the way (I like it)! :)

I'm here if there are any questions. But please do the installation and setup by the book first.

Thanks, Pekka. And I'll try to follow the book!
However, I've already run into a problem.
On URL ......install1, should not the steps be as follows: 1, 4, 2, 3?
I tried 1, 2, 3, and of course neither 2 nor 3 was appropriate. (I assumed "GALLERY" was just a place holder, but I now believe it represents the real folder AFTER being uploaded. The uploading comes in step 4!)
Anyway, my next move is to try 1,4, 2, 3.

I do all the unpacking, renaming and configuration edits locally, then upload. This is why the order is like it is. I should put that on notes.
Thanks for pointing this out.
