Lovely shot & crop, colours are wicked, right up my dark side ;-) on a personal note I use ' Kouros ' can't stand that Lynx stuff

Its probably a tiny mirror, see how the hair is slicked back?;) Excellent shot Dave. I like the crop the best.:D :D :D :D

Thanks for the kind words guys! I'm not sure what he was looking at, but it must have been interesting (I couldn't see it). I like the crop as well. I was going to crop vertically, but I'm not sure how to do it in Photoshop (not without rotating the image first). I'll have a play tonight, maybe there's a button or right click menu for rotating the cropping area!

Thank you very much for the kind words :) I really wanted to get a head on shot, but sadly it wasn't going to co-operate. In this bed of flowers I saw 4 Lynx spiders and also captured a very nice shot of a Crab Spider. On a side note, saw the largest Crab Spider I've ever seen tonight out in the front garden and the damn flash gun's batteries died on me (and the 2nd set wasn't charged). :( :( :( I'd say it was nearly 2cm across in total (including legs). To say I was unhappy was a major understatement (neighbours heard in very colourful language what I thought of the situation).
