I've used the Kodal premium high gloss 8-1/2x11 did a borderless print on it and it was beautiful no grain looked like a commercial print job. Just got back from office max and picked up the 4x6 kodak Satin dying to see how it looks.

I've had no problems with drying, I try not to touch them for about 10 min. and I don't put any together for a few hours. I just printed out a 4x6 on the Kodak 'satin' very nice effect it's kind of soft I think it would be great for portraits. I printed a train engine and it still looked good, the only problem I've found with Kodak 4x6 over Canon 4x6 is that the kodak is actually 4x6-1/2 so if you want borderless you have to stretch and lose some or trim after printing, thats no problem thou cause I picked up a little 'Fiskars' slide paper cutter works great.

Sandy - you are such a resourceful person! I've been wanting to find a small paper cutter. It must work well for you since you recommend it.
Perhaps you have a good lead on the canon inks for the i960. I've not printed enough to cause the originals to run out, but I need to have some backup for when they do.
Thanks!

Aside from the local Wal-Mart, Office Max, CompUSA I'm not to sure there is a wholesale distrubtor in my area, that just opened a store front near where I live. There inks are quite good, I've never had to order from them because of the store, and I'm not sure if you have to be a dealer, however I doubt it. Here is a link to there web site. the link I'll give you will take you, I hope right to the inks for our Canons.

If you want more info on them just go to the home page. They carry inks for every printer, copier, and fax machine around. They also carry some specialty papers, etc.
