I like them alot, very underground feel to them which i like, reminds me of CBGB's, although iv never been to there, god i really wanna go there befor it closes obv lol. i like them very cool!

usually not a fan of flash, but these are very well executed.

I'm sure the band will like them. These would be good shots for the gallery on the band website.
Not very often I say it but good use of flash. Then again flash ruins the mood of most concerts but guessing with this style of music I think they ruin the mood by themselves.:lol:

Thanks folks. I think flash is a must if you want options in these venues. Without it, you're limited to what you can do and, things start to get boring and repetetive. As long as its bounced and based around existing light not just blasted I think it works everytime. Its when its used direct and out of context that it looks harsh and overpowering. Like trying to turn a 1/45 f1.8 into a 1/125 f8. bah.
You'd struggle to get this kind of clarity and colour without flas at a small venue.
